Our History

1962
Jack Harding Sr Opens the Doors, Akron, Ohio

Harding, Harding and Associates was started as a supplemental health insurance agency specializing in supplemental insurance for seniors.

1966
Medicare

With the creation and implementation of the Medicare program in 1966, Jack Sr. saw providing seniors supplemental coverage to Medicare as a natural fit for the agency.

1970
Creation of First Nursing Home policies in Ohio

Jack Harding Sr. was asked to assist in developing one of the first nursing home insurance plans to be offered in Ohio. This plan was introduced in 1972 and was just the beginning of what has evolved into the most important aspect of retirement planning: Protecting one's assets against the catastrophic expense of Long-Term Care.

Jack Sr.'s  son, Jack Harding Jr. was brought in to help grow the agency.

1981
First Group Retiree Policies in Ohio

Harding, Harding and Associates  designed one of the first Group Retiree's Medicare Supplement programs for employers in Ohio, some of which are still in force today.

Trusted Partner Relationships

In 1983, Harding, Harding and Associates, Inc. started promoting the concept of partnering with Trusted Advisors to bring Long-Term Care education and planning services to their clients.
